Description: The Bronx ranked last among 62 counties statewide in a survey that takes into account health factors, such as the smoking and obesity rates of a given county. It also includes measures that reflect social and economic realities that are associated with poor health outcomes. The #NOT62 Campaign was launched last year by the Bronx Borough President’s Office to improve strategic health outcomes for Bronx residents by 2020, by bringing together community-based organizations to address the determinants of health.
